SaskPower schedules two outages Thursday

Feb 12, 2018 | 9:00 AM

SaskPower has two outages planned in the Prince Albert region Thurs., Feb. 15.

The Crown power company said the first outage, between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m., will affect rural customers east of Prince Albert on Highway 302 E. to the River Forks, including customers on the north side of Highway 3, reaching to the western boundary of Muskoday First Nation. Silver Willows subdivision will not be affected, according to SaskPower.

SaskPower said the second outage, between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. on the same day, will affect Muskoday First Nation and customers on the west side of the South Saskatchewan River.

The outages are planned for worker safety reasons, as SaskPower plans to move a high-load power line on that date, weather permitting. SaskPower has apologized for any inconvenience caused by the outages.
