14-year-old boy charged with stealing car

A 14-year-old boy from Saskatoon is facing charges in connection to a stolen vehicle found in Prince Albert.

The vehicle, which had been reported stolen from Saskatoon, was found by police early Thursday morning in the 700 block of 12th St. W. The driver had gotten stuck in a snow bank.

The boy was arrested at the scene and charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000.

This is the second time in just over two weeks a minor has been charged in connection to a stolen vehicke in Prince Albert. On Jan. 25, an 11-year-old boy stole a car from a residence in the 800 block of 16th St. W.
