Sask wraps up Scotties run

Sherry Anderson and Team Saskatchewan missed out on the playoffs of the 2018 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

Anderson, who’s in the Prince Albert Sports Hall of Fame, finished 2-5 on the tournament along with Saskatoon Nutana-based rink of third Kourtney Fesser, second Krista Fesser and lead Karlee Korchinski.

They beat the Northwest Territories 8-4 and Yukon 10-7 and were involved in the 2-2 logjam in Pool A after Monday.

But Anderson lost their final three matches, 7-4 to Northern Ontario, 7-6 to New Brunswick and 8-3 to Nova Scotia.
