Police searching for stabbing suspects

Prince Albert Police Service is asking for the public’s help to identify two men allegedly responsible for a violent robbery.

Just before 10:30 p.m. on Sunday night, officers responded to the 600 Block of Branion Dr. for a report of a man stabbed. The victim told police two unknown men had approached him asking if he “had any nice things.” When the victim refused to hand over his necklace, one of the men stabbed him in the stomach. The suspects ran toward Sixth Ave. E.

The K9 Unit attempted a track, but were unable to find the men. Parkland Ambulance transported the victim to Victoria Hospital with major injuries.

One suspect is described as wearing a grey hat, a red and black plaid jacket, black sweat pants, and white running shoes. The other man is described as wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and white running shoes.
