Mintos flop and Bears prevail on second day at Mac’s

Both the Mintos and Bears were in action on Wednesday at the Mac’s Midget AAA hockey tournament in Calgary.

The Mintos played the Lethrbidge Hurricanes and lost 4-0. The Hurricanes outshot the Mintos 27-23.

The Mintos, who are now 0-2, are back in action Thursday against the Vancouver Canadians at 12:45 p.m.

Meanwhile the Prince Albert Bears are faring a bit better in Calgary after beating Delta Academy Prep in their tournament opener 5-0.
