Truck driver fined after hitting guard rail

Dec 13, 2017 | 9:22 AM

The Prince Albert Police Service has issued a fine to the driver of the semi truck that crashed on the Riverside Overpass off ramp Tuesday morning.

Police said the vehicle had deviated from the truck route.

At around 7:45 a.m. police responded to a call about a semi which had gotten hung up on the guard railing while merging from Highway 55.

The overpass was eventually cleared but the incident caused long tail-backs as traffic coming into the city was seriously snarled up.
