Drugs, weapons seized after police execute warrant

The police tactical team seized weapons and drugs last night after executing a search warrant in partnership with the Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET).

Both groups executed the warrant around 6 p.m. yesterday on the 400 block of Sixth Street East. Five adults were located and arrested while members searched the residence.

Officers located two sawed off .22 calibre firearms, ammunition, a homemade Taser, 10 grams of methamphetamine, 8.6 grams of marijuana, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and a sum of cash.

A 31-year-old Prince Albert woman is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of proceeds of crime. A 29-year-old Prince Albert man is charged with possession of methamphetamine, seven firearms related charges and a breach of probation charge. A 28-year-old Prince Albert female is charged with possession of methamphetamine, four firearm-related charges and a breach of probation.
