P.A.’s Ozar producing points for Team Sask at WHL Cup

Prince Albert’s Alex Ozar is having quite the 2017 WHL Cup in Calgary.

The Mintos rookie defenceman picked up an assist in Team Saskatchewan’s 4-3 win over Team Manitoba on Thursday. Ozar now has a goal and four points in his first two tournament games. He’s a fifth round draft choice by the Saskatoon Blades, and has four assists in six games with the Mintos. 

Prince Albert Raiders prospect Cohner Saleski, who’s from Saskatoon, got an assist in the Team Sask. win to even their record at 1-1. Fellow Raider prospect Jakob Brook registered an assist for Manitoba.

Raiders’ first overall pick Kaiden Guhle had another goal and an assist to add to his tallies in Team Alberta’s 6-2 win over Team B.C. Guhle now has three goals and four points to start the tournament.
