The Carlton Crusaders senior football team had an opportunity to win their third straight game on Thursday at Max Clunie Field.
St. Joseph, their Saskatoon-based opponents, had other ideas. The Crusaders instead ended up with a 39-6 defeat, giving them a 2-4 record on the season.
Their final game of the regular season is on Oct. 20 away at Bedford Road.
