Before the Prince Albert Mintos step into the Art Hauser Centre Thursday for their home opener against the Saskatoon Contacts, they will already be on a three-game winning streak.

They got to that point on Wednesday beating the Saskatoon Blazers 6-2 on the road. The Mintos won both of their games to kick off the campaign in the Warman Showcase, 6-2 over the Swift Current Legionnaires and 4-1 over the Moose Jaw Generals.

Rookie forward Josh Pillar potted a pair for the Mintos.

Puck drop for the home opener is on Thursday at 7 p.m.
