RCMP arrest suspected drug trafficker outside Love

A routine traffic stop this past weekend lead to drug charges for one Nipawin woman. 

On Sunday afternoon, the Nipawin RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Highway 55 near the community of Love.

Two occupants were arrested and detained, while one ultimately was charged. Roughly one ounce of cocaine and seven grams of crystal meth were located and seized. 

Racheal Priscilla Budd, 26, of Nipawin is charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. 

The accused is scheduled to make her first court appearance at Nipawin Provincial Court on Oct. 25.
