SaskTel is reporting a $184,000 loss to the government, after an employee stole over 200 phones from them between April and June.

According to the quarterly-loss report, the employee stole 22 cell phones from their inventory and fraudulently obtained another 213.

The report said the ongoing investigation showed the employee was obtaining the phones and selling them to third parties.

The employee was suspended and they eventually resigned before more disciplinary action could be applied.
