Collision near Langham claims man’s life

A man has died after a pickup truck collided with a semi.

On Tuesday, July 25 at roughly 10 p.m. Warman and Martensville RCMP arrived at the scene of a serious, two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 16 and Township Road 384 near Langham.

A semi was traveling northwest on the highway when a pickup truck attempted to cross westbound on the township road. The pickup was hit by the semi.

The 36-year-old male driver and lone occupant of the truck died on the scene. The semi driver was uninjured. 

An RCMP Collision Analyst attended the scene, and the westbound lane of Highway 16 was shut down for several hours and traffic re-routed while they conducted their investigation.
