Long weekend campers relatively well behaved

Prince Albert RCMP reporting a fairly subdued weekend at the lakes.

“No traffic accidents….no major incidents whatsoever,” said Sgt. John Mansbridge.

Mansbridge said they were anticipating a larger than normal turnout of people, and while he is not sure if that happened, the corresponding number of complaints and concerns raised did not materialize.

“We are very happy with the overall tone of the weekend. There were no major incidents reported and no major injuries. I guess that everyone had a good time at the lake and that's what it's all about,” said Mansbridge.

RCMP are investigating several cases of thefts from vehicles, and there were two minor assaults in the Sunnyside area.
