Wesley John Veit charged with murder of Heidi Veit

RCMP have charged Wesley John Veit with one count of first-degree murder in relation to the death of Heidi Veit.
Wesley J. Veit, from the R.M. of Buffalo, was taken into police custody at a residence in the R.M. of Buffalo at 6:53 p.m. this evening, March 29, without incident.
Heidi Veit was found deceased roughly five kilometres northeast of town on Mar. 28. RCMP stated they wanted to speak to Wesley Veit on Mar. 28, and described him as someone who had “knowledge of the event.”
Heidi was identified by the Living Sky School Division as an educational assistant.
