The Raiders have traded local boy Loch Morrison to the Royals.

The 19-year-old defenceman who had two goals and 13 assists in 37 games this season was dealt to Victoria along with a fourth round draft choice this spring for defenceman Brayden Pachal and a sixth round selection in this year’s draft.

Pachal was taken in the second round of the 2014 draft and played in 75 WHL games over the past two season scoring once and picking up eight assists.

The 17-year-old from Estevan played for Team Saskatchewan at the 2015 Canada Winter Games and is a former bantam AA teammate of Raiders’ first round pick Cole Fonstad.
