Thieves use five finger discount at Humboldt hardware store

Two women, described by police as a “mother-daughter” team, are being sought by police after a store theft in Humboldt.
 
On Monday, Dec. 19 at 3:45 p.m. the two women entered the Home Hardware store, loaded up a shopping cart with various items and went out the back door of the store without paying, according to police.
 
A release from the RCMP states the women had just finished loading up their SUV with the goods when confronted by a store employee. 
 
They proceeed to speed off, making a getaway

RCMP have provided a description of both suspects.

The first suspect is described as a First Nations female, approximately 45 to 50 years of age, heavier build and black hair pulled back in a pony tail. She was wearing a dark ball cap with white lettering, black framed glasses, dark navy blue jacket, black pants, black boots and a long silver scarf around her neck.

The second suspect is described as a First Nations female, approximately 25 to 30 years of age, slim build and black hair pulled back in a pony tail. She was wearing a dark navy blue jacket, light colored jeans and a black knee high boots.
