Team Sask finishes Under-18 round robin at 1-2

Three Prince Albert Northern Bears played their third game at the national level for the 2016 National Women’s Under-18 Championship in Regina on Friday.
Team Saskatchewan, which features Bears’ Brooke Hobson, Hannah Koroll and Ireland South, fell 5-3 to Ontario Red on Friday. Team Sask finishes the round robin with a 1-2 record.
They started out the tournament Wednesday with a 3-0 victory over the Atlantic before falling on Thursday to Ontario Blue 2-0.
The playoffs commence on Saturday morning.
