Raiders add Cougar centreman

The Prince Albert Raiders have added a 17-year-old forward in a trade with Prince George.

They acquired Adam Kadlec Tuesday morning from the Cougars for 17-year-old winger Josh Maser and a sixth round draft choice in 2017.

The 6’3,” 183 lbs centreman from Endina, Minn. who has played six of his 10 major-junior games this season is still looking for his first WHL point. Kadlec was selected in the 10th round of the 2014 WHL bantam draft.

The dual citizen of Canada and the United States has spent much of the last two seasons in the Boston Jr. Bruins program scoring 16 goals and 41 points in 25 games during the 2014-15 campaign.
