Community calls for details in P.A.’s first murder of 2016

Nine days after the murder of Jonathan Lee Cowan, many people are expressing their displeasure that no one has been caught.

“More than one person did this crime…what’s taking so long to make an arrest?” one woman wrote on paNOW’s most recent Facebook post about Cowan.

“Hope they catch those guys. If they did it one time they will strike again,” another commented.

“They should have these guys already,” was also written.

Prince Albert Police Service said there have been no updates in the case.

They also said Cowan’s shooting is unrelated to the other high-profile shooting in Prince Albert, when a 15-year-old was shot in the face at the end of 2015.
