Blaine Charles, 23, will be tried by judge alone at Prince Albert Court of Queen’s Bench, the week of March 22.

He is facing a charge of second degree murder in the death of Wilfred Sewap in Pelican Narrows last year.

The case dates back to Dec. 30, 2014.

Sewap and Charles had been living together and, according to family members, had been involved in some sort of physical altercation.
