Astros 1-1 after Day 1 at Fast Pitch Championships

The Prince Albert Astros began the tournament on the losing end of a 10-0 rout at the hands of Chepstow Lang Farms from Ontario.

By the second game, the Astros appeared to have their confidence back and beat the Manitoban team 5-2.

The Astros scored four of their runs in the third inning.

The round robin tournament is taking place at Prime Minister’s Park from Aug 5-9.

The Astros next game is Thursday morning at 11a.m. versus the Warman Poly Plus Pride.
