Jun 14, 2015 | 2:37 PM

Family and friends have joined the search for a Prince Albert woman who went missing near Shellbrook.

According to a member of the search party, the group of about 15 people joined RCMP efforts to search for 22-year-old Danielle Nyland.

The woman has told paNOW that the group spent most of Saturday and Sunday searching areas east of Shellbrook.

According to RCMP reports, Nyland was attending a social gathering in the early hours of Monday morning in Prince Albert’s East Flat. Her cellphone was discovered at the end of a driveway of a home about nine kilometres east of Shellbrook.

She was also spotted in Shellbrook around 7:30 a.m. on Monday as well.

She may have been wearing a white jacket, black leggings and a black tank top with a pattern on it, according to the RCMP.

Nyland’s bank and social media accounts have had no activity since she was reported missing. She also has not had any contact with family or friends, which is not typical.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts can call RCMP at 306-747-2606 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
