It was a more complete effort, but the end result was another loss for the Raiders. Saskatoon won 5-2 Sunday at Credit Union Centre to take a two nothing lead in their best-of-seven WHL Eastern Conference quarter final.

What would have been the first goal of the game was disallowed, as it was ruled Brandon Herrod knocked the puck in with a high stick on a Prince Albert power play.

Brayden Schenn made the Raiders pay with the first of two on the night to give Saskatoon a 1-0 lead which they carried into the second despite being outplayed and out shot by the Raiders in period one.

The Blades took command in the second with a three goal outburst and sealed the victory with a Curtis Hamilton goal four minutes into the third.

Shayne Danyluk and Antoine Corbin scored for the Raiders who host game three Wednesday night at the Art Hauser Centre.
