Fatal crash north-west of Saskatoon

Maidstone RCMP are investigating a fatal accident on a rural road north-west of Saskatoon Tuesday morning.

RCMP say one person is dead and another is seriously injured after the collision directly north of Waseca on Highway 303. The victims ages, genders and names weren't released.

A cattle truck was one of the vehicles involved. Mounties say several cows were also killed in the crash.

The Highway Hotline reports that there was fog and slippery sections in the area of the crash, but it's unclear if those were factors in the collision.
