Mar 6, 2011 | 10:29 AM

Saskatoon police are trying to find out why someone fired gunshots at a Saskatoon home early Sunday morning.

Police received a complaint about three shots being fired at a house in the 1000 block of Avenue L North around 3:45 a.m.

“Five people had been inside the residence and they were sleeping at the time of the incident and they weren't aware of the situation,” said Sgt. Ryan Smith, adding that there were bullet holes in the home's front window when officers arrived.

Nobody was hurt and police have no suspects at this time. There's also no word on whether the shooting was an isolated incident or random.
