Feb 25, 2011 | 9:38 PM

The Kootenay Ice built leads of 1-0 and 3-0 after the periods before defeating the Prince Albert Raiders 4-1 in Kootenay.

The Raiders didn’t break Nathan Lieuwen’s shutout until the third period when Justin Maylan scored on the power play. The Raiders then pulled Eric Willaims and created some more pressure but Brayden

McNabb hit the empty net from deep in his own zone with just over one minute to go.
Eric Willaims faced 38 shots on the night while Nathan Lieuwen faced 31 Prince Albert shots including 13 in the third period.

The final score from Kootenay saw the Ice defat the Raiders 4-1.
