Paramedics have fairly quiet weekend in PA

Despite the frigid arctic temperatures there were no exposure-related issues for Parkland Ambulance paramedics to attend.

It seems the cold was a benefit as well as all around it was a very quiet weekend for paramedics who responded to 46 incidents over the entire weekend.

Although there were a few minor incidents:

Around 8 p.m. Saturday evening paramedics were called to a car accident at the intersection of 6th Avenue and 15th Street East.

Although paramedics reported that the accident did not result in any injuries.

An assault on Friday resulted in the only injury to be reported by paramedics.

They responded to a call for service in the 1400 block of 12th Street West Friday evening around 9:30 p.m.

A 36-year-old man was the victim of an assault and was taken to Victoria Hospital with minor injuries.
