Prince Albert men honoured for lifetime business achievements

Jan 27, 2014 | 12:55 PM

President of Parkland Ambulance Care Ltd. Barry Dutchak and former Prince Albert mayor Jim Scarrow are being honoured for their contributions to the business community.

The two new lifetime members are being celebrated at the Chairmen’s Nite, hosted by the Prince Albert and District Chamber of Commerce.

The night will take place Feb. 5 and includes a silent auction and raffle. Money raised will be matched by the province and donated to a SIAST Business Scholarship.

“The lifetime members awards typically go to someone who has either been supportive of the Chamber and been involved with the Chamber … anyone who would typically be recognized would have done this for a number of years, which is usually measured in decades,” said CEO of the Prince Albert and District Chamber of Commerce Merle Lacert.
