Prince Albert Police confirm alleged abduction attempt

Prince Albert Police have confirmed an alleged abduction attempt at the South Hill Mall, which ties into reports that came in to our newsroom based on a Facebook post, which read, “A lady was walking into winners in Prince Albert today(sat) and there were two native men watching her and her three kids. She was holding her 2 yr old an her 4 yr old was holding her hand, her 8 yr old was walking beside them, the 2 men got clo…se enough to grab the 8 yr old and run, thankfully the mom caught up and grabbed her son! She reported it and thr mall will have video of it tmro!!! Pls keep an eye out for the described men and keep your kids super close!!!”

Officers report a complainant reported around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday two men allegedly attempted to abduct an unknown individual.

The report states that police have interviewed the complainant and the two men allegedly involved. However the investigation is continuing and no charges have been laid.
