Two vehicles damaged after lunchtime car accident

An SUV slamming into a parked vehicle at lunchtime was caused by a driver’s undue care and attention, according to police.

This happened on the 200-block of 13th Street East, just a few blocks from downtown Prince Albert.

Prince Albert Police confirmed the driver was taken to hospital by ambulance due to chest pains.

Traffic was blocked off near the Second Avenue East intersection for about an hour after the accident, which happened around noon on Saturday.

Police took statements while fire crews cleaned up fluid leaks from both vehicles.
