PHOTOS/VIDEO: Local couple owns notorious haunted house

One house on 13th Street East in Prince Albert has been mentioned in various books on haunting in Saskatchewan and its right down the street.

Alycia Sawatzky’s home was built in 1912 and has apparently continued to carry its spiritual and physical history through the years.

Sawatzky, who now lives in another home with her husband and son outside of Prince Albert, said during their time there, she and her husband both experienced quite a few paranormal happenings. Those include hearing footsteps on the basement stairs, feeling watched and even having her son’s first words be the name of the man who she believes is haunting the home.

Currently, she is renting the home out to another family member who says he has not experienced anything paranormal happening in the home.

Although, Sawatzky said that she is not a big believer in the supernatural.
