RCMP no closer to solving young girl’s death

Oct 28, 2013 | 12:14 PM

It has been a week since a 13-year-old girl was struck and killed by a vehicle on the Red Earth First Nation.

The driver sped off, not stopping to see if the girl had been hurt.

A spokesperson for Carrot River RCMP said they have had no calls; they have no leads; and they have no idea what the suspect vehicle looks like.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers. Tips to Crime Stoppers are eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000.
