Sturgeon Lake school evacuated after report of rotten egg smell

A report of a rotten egg smell has led to the evacuation of all students from Sturgeon Lake Central School on the Sturgeon Lake Indian Reserve north of Prince Albert on Friday.

Crews from SaskEnergy, Buckland Fire and Rescue and the RCMP are responding to the scene.

A CO2 alarm went off at the school prior to the evacuation.

The evacuation of the school was completed after noon.
