RCMP look for clues in Creighton assault

The Creighton RCMP are seeking the public’s help in gathering information about an assault in the town on Sunday that left a Manitoba man with head injuries.

The assault, which happened outside of a bar in the 300 block of Main Street in Creighton, is currently being investigated by the local RCMP detachment and the Prince Albert General Investigation Section.

The incident happened at 2:15 a.m. on Sept. 22, but was not reported to the RCMP until Monday. The investigators are looking to piece together what led up to the assault. The 26-year-old man from Flin Flon, Man. remains in stable condition in the hospital.

The RCMP is encouraging anyone with information to contact the local detachment or CrimeStoppers.
