Oct 6, 2010 | 4:33 PM

RCMP in Melfort have arrested two people on the James Smith Cree Nation and seized marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and money.

The RCMP Melfort Detachment, Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team, and the North Battleford Police Dog Service executed a search warrant at about 4:20 this morning.

Bradley Stonestand, 43, and 27 year-old Shirley Stonestand face a number of charges, including possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

They have both been released from custody and will be appearing in court in November.
