Contacts clip Mintos tie SMAAAHL final at 1

The Saskatoon Contacts scored three unanswered third period goals to beat the Mintos 4-1 and tie the Midget Boys AAA hockey final at a game each.

Kade Kehoe thrilled the packed house at Saskatoon's Schroh arena with a hat trick including the final goal into an empty net.

Jason Duret got the lone Minto goal. His shorthanded marker opened the scoring about 6-minutes into the second period.

Prince Albert's Lane Michasiw stopped 31 of 35 shots and was named the Mintos top player. Raider prospect Rylan Parenteau made 37 saves for the Contacts.
