Child dies near Swift Current

A two-year-old boy who lived west of swift current is dead, after his parents could not wake him from his nap on Saturday afternoon.

The child's parents called for help and EMS arrived to try to revive the boy, but it was too late.

Police will have more answers later today, said Sgt. Paul Dawson, RCMP spokesperson.

The boy lived with his father and step-mother in Webb.
