PACI wins season opener

The PACI Golden Bears have opened their 6-man Fort Carleton football season with a 34-32 win over Wakaw.

Nick Patrick led the offense throwing for 310 yards and 5-touchdowns. Landon Lajeunnesse hauled in four of those passes for majors while John Halkett caught the other.

Kirk Latendre led the defense with 10-tackles, one more than Cody Hall-Shand and Wendall Halkett-Lafond.

The Golden Bears will play Meath Park next Friday night for a game under the lights at Prime Minister's Park.
