Lack of doctors results in temporary closure of emergency and outpatient services at Porcupine

Emergency and outpatient services will not be available at Porcupine Carragana Hospital this weekend due to the unavailability of physician coverage.

The department will be temporarily closed from 4 a.m. Friday July 27 to 8 a.m. Monday July 30.

Anyone that requires immediate medical attention during that time is told to call 911 for an ambulance service or present themselves at either the Kelvington or Tisdale Hospital.

Emergency/outpatient services will be restored at Porcupine on Monday, July 30 at 8 a.m.
