Rob Bagg on 9-game injured list due to knee injury

Jul 18, 2012 | 6:00 PM

The Saskatchewan Roughriders will be without receiver Rob Bagg for at least nine games after tearing a ligament in his left knee. It's believed to be an ACL tear.

The receiver has been placed on the nine-game injured list after getting the results of an MRI following the Roughriders win against the B.C. Lions. Bagg was injured early in the game and was on the sideline getting attention to his left knee but ended up only missing one play.

Bagg practiced Monday but was not participating on Tuesday and today he was added to the nine-game injured list.

Bagg missed the entire 2011 season after re-injuring his right knee with an ACL tear just before training camp. He has nine catches for 69-yards in three games this season.
