Parenteau seems unstoppable

Feb 27, 2012 | 4:09 PM

It seems like there is no cloud in sight to stop Donny Parenteau’s ray of sunshine.

The music artist has been nominated for seven Saskatchewan Country Music Association awards that will be announced Apr. 21 in Prince Albert.

This follows a record—breaking seven nominations from the 2011 Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards, for which he took home five. He has also received his second Juno nomination for the Aboriginal Recording category that will be announced Mar. 31 in Ottawa.

These nominations stem from his Jan. 2011 album release To Whom It May Concern.
