RCMP continue to investigate young woman’s death

According to RCMP, the death of a young woman on the Montreal Lake Cree Nation remains an active investigation.

The lifeless body of 19-year-old Carly Charles was found on Feb. 18.

A funeral was held Friday in Prince Albert at the Senator Allan Bird Centre.

The RCMP has not released the results of an autopsy.

Corporal Rob King said the case remains an active investigation and they were still working on timelines.

A spokesperson for the family has told our newsroom, “There is no overt sign of physical foul play.”
