Man dead after car hits steel pipe in Regina

A man is dead after a car hit a ditch and slammed into a steel pipe in Regina this morning.

It happened at the intersection of Industrial Drive North and Sherwood Road at 1:30 a.m.

The 1997 Mercury Cougar burst into flames. The only passenger, a man, died in the car.

Police have not yet determined the identity or age of the man.

RCMP say an autopsy will be performed.
