Former Roughrider remembers September 11

As the anniversary of September 11, 2001 approaches many people are remembering where they were when they heard the news.

Former Saskatchewan Roughrider Pete Watson lives in New Jersey but worked on Wall Street — just a few blocks from the World Trade Centre. He remembers seeing it happen.

“We thought a small plane had hit the towers,” said Watson.

“Some of the guys from my office went out to see and they saw the blast.”
