Some times in sports the bounces don't go your way. That was the story for the Prince Albert Venice House Pirates Thursday in a 4-1 loss to Edmonton at the Western Canadian Bantam Hockey Championship in Winnipeg. Zach Hurd opened the scoring for P.A. in the first period. In the second the Alberta SSAC went ahead on two power play goals, while P.A. failed to capitalize on their chances, hitting two goal posts. The club from Edmonton would add two more in the third to ice the game away.
Pirates schedule:
Friday 9 a.m. vs Winnipeg Hawks
Friday 3 p.m. vs Winnipeg Sharks
Saturday 11 a.m. vs vs Burnaby Winter Club
