Water threatens Moose Jaw neighbourhoods

Rising water is forcing evacuations in some neighbourhoods in Moose Jaw.
“There’s ice jams along the river in the corners and that and water is backing up now into Churchill Park and the River Park area,” said Rod Montgomery, deputy fire chief in Moose Jaw.
“So what we are doing right now is we’re going door-to-door asking residents to evacuate. We want to evacuate everybody out the Churchill Park and River Park area.”
These residents are being told to leave their homes.
