One in hospital after rush-hour accident

One person has been taken to hospital with minor injuries after a two-vehicle accident this afternoon.
It happened just before 4:20 p.m. at the corner of 28th St. and Fourth Avenue West.
Fire, police and ambulance were on scene.
The fire department had to use the jaws-of-life to free one passenger, there were called to the scene when it was discovered that one vehicle was smoking.
Police were on hand directing traffic.
