Melba Toast paints a child’s face at the Earth Day celebrations at City Hall.
The event was held in the foyer of the building – it was originally scheduled to be held in Memorial Square, but the weather moved it indoors.
Other activities included music, food and displays.
Rick Sawa, with the Council of Canadians who put on the event, said people were coming and going throughout the day. While he was happy with the turn out, he said he believes more people would have seen it and taken part if it were outside.
