Accident blocks intersection

Traffic was interrupted along River Street at First Avenue West this afternoon.

The fire department and police were on scene directing traffic and cleaning up from the accident which involved a head on crash between two cars.

There were no injuries in the collision.

Earlier today at 11:42 a.m. paramedics responded to another collision in the 400 block of 10th Street East. One person was treated for minor injuries and taken to Victoria Hospital.
